1) размывание [аудио]сигнала (для получения более естественного звучания)2) (см. тж. color dithering) псевдосмешение (размывание) цветов (точечных растров), проф. дизерингметод, используемый в КГА для получения за счёт смешения точек двух различных цветов оттенков плавных переходов при печати цветного (полутонового) изображения на устройстве, не имеющем возможности прямого вывода нужных цветов (также color dithering).
